Import Requirement for Mozambique

Import requirement regarding shipping vehicles to Mozambique:

Documents Required for custom clearance in Mozambique:

-Certificate of registration

-Copy of passport

-Original purchase invoice

-Original bill of lading

-Obtain import permit and inspection report for non diplomats prior to arrival of vehicle.

Customs Regulations :

-Customer may pay up to 100% tax on the actual value of the vehicle depending on engine capacity and year of manufacture.

- Diplomats are allowed to import one vehicle duty free but they have to request customs exemption.
